IT Support Specialist

You will primarily focus on handling level 1 help desk requests, assisting with basic Active Directory and Office 365 admin functions, and contributing to various IT infrastructure projects.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Assist in assigning and tracking tickets to appropriate IT team members for advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to end user devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of end user hardware and peripherals.
- Assist in managing user accounts, password resets, and permissions within Active Directory and Office 365 environments.
- Participate in routine system maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, system monitoring, and network performance.
- Contribute to IT infrastructure projects by assisting in planning, implementation, and documentation.
- Collaborate with IT team members to improve and streamline IT processes and procedures.

**What you bring to the table**:

- 1 to 2 years of work experience in an IT Support Role (IT support in an office environment preferred)
- Strong interest in IT and a desire to develop technical skills
- Working knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and general IT concepts
- Knowledge of how computer Wifi, printer, A/V connection works
- Working knowledge in network hardware and concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN, firewalls)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaboratively, take initiatives, and be a self-starter
- Strong creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Continuous learning mindset and adapt to new technologies and tools
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Office 365 administration is a plus
- Custom computer building experience is a plus
