Property Accounting Clerk

Our client is a growing vertically integrated owner operator of retail real estate assets, primarily in California. They are looking for a Junior Property Accountant, focusing on AP and AR using Yardi to support asset management and property management. The role is a great way to gain experience in property accounting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accounts Receivable: record and track payments and deposits, maintain tenant ledgers.
- Accounts Payable: create vendor files, process invoices and payments, and process wires/ACHs and manual checks.
- Support team with processing IRS forms W-9 and 1099.
- Cash flow management: monitoring bank balances and ensuring timely collections.
- Support for audits, payroll taxes, and insurance billing.
- Corporate support: calculating management fees and reconciling/balancing operating cash accounts.

Qualifications:

- 1+ year accounting experience with Yardi, ideally with AR/AP.
- Accounts Payable experience required. Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
- Accounting certificate or degree required.
- 5 days a week in office in Chino.
