1. Tenant Engagement:

  • Respond to tenant inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants to enhance satisfaction.

2. Administrative Functions:

  • Keep precise records of tenants, leases, and maintenance requests.
  • Efficiently process rental applications and perform background checks.
  • Ensure property management systems are regularly updated with accurate information.
  • Manage communications with tenants and service providers.

3. Property Oversight:

  • Assist in coordinating maintenance and repair schedules with contractors.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and lease terms.
  • Track and ensure the timely completion of maintenance requests.
  • Support the implementation of preventative maintenance initiatives.

4. Financial Oversight:

  • Assist in the collection and documentation of rent payments and associated fees.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and manage late payment concerns.
  • Contribute to the management of the property’s budget and control of operational costs.

5. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of property insurance claims.
  • Implement and uphold property rules and regulations consistently.

6. Marketing and Leasing:

  • Support marketing initiatives to attract prospective tenants.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials and advertisements.
  • Conduct property tours for potential tenants to showcase available units.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or a related field.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Proficient in property management software; experience with Yardi Voyager preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Working Conditions:
