**Job Summary**:
Central Guards Security is seeking diligent and reliable Entry Level Security Officer to join our team at a manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in security or those who need to stay active and engaged during the week. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of employees, visitors, and company property through regular foot patrols and vigilant monitoring.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct hourly foot patrols of both the exterior and interior of the facility.
- Monitor designated areas such as production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and administrative offices to ensure safety and security.
- Respond to and investigate complaints, erratic or violent behavior, and other problematic situations.
- Handle emergencies and report any issues (collectively referred to as “Issues” and each, an “Issue”) to Central Guards Security, facility management, and/or local law enforcement as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulations by employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any suspicious occurrences.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures is a plus, but not required.
- Physical ability to conduct foot patrols and handle potential physical confrontations.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Security Officers working in the state of New Hampshire are required by the NH State Police to obtain their guard cards. Central Guards Security will reimburse guards for the cost of obtaining their guard cards.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience level:

- No experience needed

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends

Ability to Relocate:

- Exeter, NH: Relocate before starting work (required)
