Security Officer

Position: Overnight Security Officer (Part-Time)

Location: Exeter, NH

Shift: Saturdays, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM; Sundays, 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM

Hours: 20 hours per week

Pay: $18.00 per hour, bi-weekly pay

As an Overnight Security Officer at our Exeter-based manufacturing facility, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and safety of our premises during the third shift. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring surveillance cameras and conducting hourly foot patrols both inside and outside the facility to ensure the property and personnel are secure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor CCTV systems and maintain vigilance over the facility’s perimeter and internal areas.
- Conduct regular and thorough patrols of the facility grounds and buildings to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Manage access control for the facility, including distribution of key fobs, registration of visitors, and check-in of contractors.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents within the premises promptly and effectively.
- Handle the presence of unwanted individuals on site with professionalism and according to company policies.
- Prepare reports on incidents and irregularities that occur during the shift.

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proven experience in security operations or a similar role.
- Strong surveillance and observation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies and maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further training in security services is a plus.
- Must possess a valid New Hampshire Guard Card.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug test prior to employment.
