The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $19.43 - $22.00 per hour.

This position is non-exempt under the FLSA.

The Court Administration Assistant provides administrative support in a high-volume work environment that requires the ability to multi-task, use strong organizational and communication skills to provide exemplary service, both internally and externally, ensuring that the needs of the Court are met effectively.

Position Qualifications
- Education:_
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience:_
- Two (2) years of general clerical or administrative experience

OR

Combined Education And Experience Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education may substitute for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis
- Experience handling monetary transactions/cashiering, previous court or legal experience, and substantial customer service
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, multi-line telephone system, and copy/fax machine

Essential Job Tasks
- (This is not an all-inclusive list of all job duties that may be required; employees will be required to perform other related duties as assigned.)_
- Provides customer-centric service to Protective Order Area, Customer Service, and Information Desk and other related customers as needed.
- Assists customers in identifying applicable court forms for various court processes.
- Assists litigants in completing Protective Order paperwork using the Domestic Violence Computer Prompt System and AZPoint (Statewide Petition Portal).
- In accordance with minimum accounting standards, performs direct cash handling, including entering codes into the Cash Management System, receipting transactions, balancing cash drawer and making daily deposits.
- Uses ICIS, Domestic Violence Computer Prompt System, AZPoint and other court software to assist customers with case information.
- Directs public to appropriate Court programs, resources, facilities and outside agencies.
- Set meeting, review Administrator calendars, setup meetings, office clerical work (copies, creation of binders, errands)
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
