**Job Description**:
This position reports to the Certification Manager.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (equivalency: will consider an Associate’s degree with five years of experience in administrative support or office management or a High School Diploma/GED with seven years of experience in administrative support or office management)- Three years of experience in administrative support or similar office work.

Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in test administration and analyzing test data.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.- Ability to regularly use computer/keyboard.- Physical conditioning consistent with performing job duties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally written and orally.-
- Working knowledge of office equipment (e.g., fax machine, copier, computer).- Ability to fluently communicate with native Spanish speakers both verbally and in written form.- Knowledge of the Family Education Rights Privacy Act (FERPA).- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.- Ability to prioritize work assignments and organize effectively.- Ability to accurately review/process documents using good time management and strong attention to detail.- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.- High level of attention to detail and ability to follow through on assignments from implementation to completion.- Must be able to follow standardized business processes.

- This position is security sensitive.- This position may require work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends.- This position requires compliance with state and federal laws/codes and Texas A&M University System/TEEX regulations and procedures.- All tasks and job responsibilities must be performed safely without injury to self or others in compliance with System and Agency safety requirements.- As part of TEEX’s mission of providing training, developing practical solutions, and saving lives; this position could be required, if called upon, to deploy within the State of Texas as directed by this position’s Division Director/HQ Department Head.- Ability to travel independently to other and/or remote locations by driving a personal or TEEX vehicle and/or flying on commercial airlines.

Essential Duties, Tasks, and Percentages:
Collaboration and Test Coordination - 50%- Coordinates with program directors, training managers, test proctors, and skills evaluators to schedule certification tests.- Coordinates with program directors, training managers, test proctors, and skills evaluators to ensure compliance with TEEX's Pro Board accreditation requirements during the testing process.- Determines written test proctor eligibility to ensure training requirements have been met.- Determines skills evaluator eligibility to ensure certification credentials and training requirements have been met.- Ensures written test proctors and skills evaluators receive necessary testing materials prior to scheduled test date.- Performs all assignments with a positive team approach, providing customer friendly service to both internal and external TEEX/ESTI customers.

Certification Eligibility - 40%- Advises students about the certification process to include communicating results, resolving extenuating circumstances, complaints, and appeals of certification eligibility denials.- Determines student prerequisite eligibility based on standards set by the Certification Program and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).- Evaluates skill sheets for accuracy and completion.- Scores national certification tests within 10 business days (or as determined by Program Manager) of receiving tests in the certification office.- Accurately enters all testing information into the certification database system.- Accurately completes course matrices for certification classes and release test results within 30 business days (or as determined by Program Manager) of receiving tests in the certification office.- Maintains detailed records/files for each certification testing event.- Performs quality assurance checks on student files prepared by other program staff to ensure accuracy in testing results prior to issuing Pro Board certifications.- Investigates and reports anomalies with testing procedures or discrepancies in
