**Position Summary**: SkyHop Global is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) to lead our HR department. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of HR will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for shaping and executing HR strategies that support the company's business goals and enhance organizational performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in HR leadership, talent management, and organizational development, preferably in fast-growth environments. Union background is a plus.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic HR Leadership**:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with SkyHop Global's business objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to the executive team on HR matters.
- Foster a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- **Talent Acquisition and Management**:
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process to attract and retain top talent.
- Develop and implement talent management and succession planning programs.
- Enhance employee engagement, retention, and career development initiatives.
- **Performance Management**:
- Design and implement effective performance management systems.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related issues.
- Ensure alignment of individual and team performance with organizational goals.
- **Employee Relations and Compliance**:
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- **Organizational Development**:
- Lead organizational design and change management initiatives.
- Develop and implement training and development programs.
- Drive initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- **HR Operations**:
- Oversee HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure effective HR metrics, reporting, and analytics to support decision-making.

Our client, a leading company within its industry, is seeking an innovative Vice President of Human Resources to lead their growing HR team and elevate the overall employee experience.
**In this pivotal role, you will**:
- Serve as the Vice President of Human Resources, providing strategic direction and leadership for all HR functions across the 1500+ employee organization.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives, fostering a culture of engagement and high performance.
- Lead and grow a talented team of HR professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Partner with senior leadership to ensure alignment between HR initiatives and the company's strategic goals.
- Champion a positive and inclusive work environment that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
- Oversee all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and performance management.
- Stay abreast of current HR trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to optimize the organization's human capital.
- Proven track record of success as a Vice President of Human Resources or similar senior HR leadership role in a large organization (1000+ employees).
- Strong understanding of all HR functions, with a focus on strategic HR management.
- Experience developing and implementing a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with business goals.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a high-performing HR team.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Additional certifications such as SHRM, PHR, etc. would be ideal.
- Experience in fast-growth environments and union background is a plus.
