As Junior Account Manager you will work closely with the senior staff of the Chemical Sales Department. Your role will involve communication with our customers, vendors, warehouses, and freight companies to provide excellent customer service experience and support for our chemical customers. Your work will help increase the growth of the Chemical Sales Department.

The role is based in our Mokena, IL office.

**What is the role?**
- ** Account Manager experience required**:

- Prepare and submit customer quotes for chemicals and parts.
- Estimate freight costs.
- Coordinate with freight carriers, vendors, and warehouses to verify and follow up on orders placed.
- File claims with freight brokers in regard to damaged & missing shipments.
- Contact customers providing awareness they are approaching reorder dates.
- Using specialized internal data, follow up with customers regarding potential chemical and parts promoting increased sales.
- Matching and processing shipping and billing paperwork.
- Perform receiving functions into an ERP system.
- This is a noncomprehensive list of responsibilities and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

- Education: Associate degree or equivalent. Continuing education is preferred, not required.
- ** 1-3 yrs. of Account Management** in a manufacturing or relatable field is helpful.
- Possess strong computer and data entry skills with Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- Be well-organized and detail oriented, focused on accuracy and thoroughness.
- Adept at working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Provide excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate capability to perform basic mathematical functions.
