**Overview**:
We are hiring a Founder’s Assistant to help us get ready for launch We’re looking for a creative, flexible person who’s passionate about hair and wants to get involved with multiple aspects of a business. The most important projects the Founder’s Assistant will help with include: finding our first customers, ensuring our pre-launch customers’ appointments go smoothly, capturing content from those appointments, and helping develop best practices that will make the official launch a success. This is a part-time contract role with expected hours ranging from 4-6 hours per week for 2 months, with the potential to extend and increase hours after the initial time frame.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Help convert new customers by passing out business cards, posting fliers, engaging in community outreach, and tapping into your own personal network
- Act as a “walking model” for our services by going out and about in NYC with your own look that shows off our services
- Capture photos, videos, and customer quotes during pre-launch appointments
- Go through training and assist with customers during pre-launch appointments
- Brainstorm ways to help grow the business and find new customers
- Help develop best practices for training, advertising, and interacting with customers

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in the hair industry is required; cosmetology and/or styling license preferred
- Good communication skills and people skills
- Flexible, can-do attitude
- Proven work experience
- Willingness to work some of your 4-6 weekly hours during weekends and late afternoons/evenings

This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded individual to learn about starting a business and to help make our launch a success

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week
