Job Summary:
An Emergency Management Specialist is a Subject Matter Expert working through disaster scenarios and creating a plan to prepare for and respond to those situations.
The Emergency Management Specialist takes the lead, guiding the response and working with government officials and other agencies in the aftermath.

**Responsibilities**:
- Help assess threats thoroughly and create effective responses.
- Develop goals to minimize damage and injuries if a crisis happens.
**Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred
- Must have experience in emergency response and safety.
- Proven experience in program management and leadership roles
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills
- Demonstrated success in volunteer coordination and team management
- Experience providing emergency management services within the Government, Military, Law enforcement or Fire Safety is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of emergency response protocols and crisis management
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $80,000.00 - $84,500.00 per year
