Human Resources Assistant

**Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm**
**Summary**:The Human Resources Assistant works closely with the HR team to make sure personnel information is submitted accurately and efficiently in HRIS software systems and paper files. The HR Assistant helps answer general HR questions to staff in a timely and welcoming manner. Works collaboratively with the HR team and ensures confidentiality and follows best practices
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Two years of college level classed preferred.
- One year experience in Human Resources or employment field required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software including word, excel, and outlook required. Experience with ADP preferred.
- Ability to adhere to all applicable regulations such as the EEOC, Affirmative Action, HIPAA, local, state, and federal laws.
- Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and other required screenings.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while working independently.
- Is flexible and able to handle a multitude of duties while under pressure.
- Ability to organize and maintain files and records with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively in order to:
- Complete required forms and reports of services provided.
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Communicate with an individual in the individual's mode of communication.
- Ability to perform light lifting when needed.
- Must be able to attend training opportunities within the state.
- Possession of valid driver's license, safe driving record, and proof of auto insurance required.
