**Summary**:
This position is responsible for the overall relationship between Fas-Pak and their customers. Project Managers work with internal and external customers to build the relationships on behalf of the customer and Fas-Pak. Project Managers handle the majority of the activities that are required to deliver product to customers on time such as receiving customer orders, process vendor purchase orders, maintain communications with customers, and coordinate plant shipments. This is a vertically integrated position consisting of many aspects of the traditional roles of Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, Production, Planning and Shipping.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)**:
- Negotiate competitive prices, buy correct quantities, and ensure pricing is within budget. This may require reviewing information with the Sales Manager and/or VP of Sales, as needed.
- Handling all paperwork including BOM’s, production paperwork, blend sheets, and quality paperwork.
- Verifying and accurately recording inventory amounts; ordering correct quantities of supplies.
- Managing customer relationships; handling all communications and requests with direction from the Sales Manager and/or VP of Sales as needed.
- Manage customer files, spreadsheets, project specs, and associated documentation
- Process customer orders, monitor production run, invoice, and monitor shipment
- Manage project changes
- Control inventory - both current and obsolete
- Purchase components and chemicals utilizing accounting software and vendor accounts
- Daily monitoring of accounts, purchasing, production, and shipments
- Schedule blending and production to insure timely delivery of finished product
- Develop and nurture business relationships vital to the success of our company
- Communicate with Production and Warehousing teams
- Work on new and existing projects and customers
- Multitask within the areas of purchasing, shipping, receiving, sales, customer service both internal and external
**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management preferred
- Math skills required; able to visualize and follow conversions as they move from components to units to cases to truck load quantities
- Working knowledge of Contract Packaging
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software
