**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**

The Notre Dame Prep Campus Technical Coordinator, under the direction of the President, Principal, Director of Advancement and Director of On-Campus Events. This individual will assist the Director of On-Campus Events in the daily functions and AV support of NDP Campus, the Performing Arts Center, as well as coordination of events and activities for the NDP community, as needed. He/she will provide specific technical support for these events, classes, and activities as well as help to maintain the facility and equipment; most especially in the area of AV support and perform other job-related duties as required or assigned in accordance with all applicable policies of the Diocese of Phoenix.

**SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
- Assists the Director of On-Campus Events as directed, with daily coordination of events and meetings within the NDP campus.
- Assists with all AV needs including but not limited to theatre productions, music performances and events.
- Provides set-up and tear-down of tech equipment, and occasional tables, chairs, platforms, etc. as needed.
- Assists all departments, NDP clubs, students and sanctioned outside groups with AV set-up within the NDP campus.
- Maintains, inventories, and operates all lighting, sound, scenic and general AV equipment within the NDP Campus, with an emphasis on the PAC.
- Is available for events on campus, according to the work schedule.
- Helps assure that all areas in the facility are pristine and maintained, ensuring a high standard of presentation.
- Assists with any NDP administration of community needs, as necessary.
- Abides by and enforces the values of respect and proper behavior across NDP campus, according to the guidelines set by NDP.
- Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**
- Responsibility. Work with diverse individuals, planning events, problem-solving; operate equipment used in theatrical presentations; maintain equipment; maintain NDP’s PAC as a showcase facility; train, supervise, and coordinate students, faculty and facility personnel in the use of equipment.
- Job Knowledge. Understand and perform all technical tasks associated with theatre, music, dance and general auditorium events; must be able to work as a team member, with various people, and with frequent interruptions in a stressful environment
- Mental Application. Must be able to read and interpret technical information; must possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail, keep a demanding schedule and maintain professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Dexterity/Accuracy. Requires accuracy and dexterity regarding the dangers of working with a wide range of theatre equipment; must strongly adhere to safety practices and procedures
- Physical Effort. Requires physical effort and ability in performing tasks that require lifting, carrying, climbing, kneeling, balancing and moving heavy and large equipment
- Working Conditions. Must sometimes work in hazardous conditions and stressful situations; flexible hours due to schedule of events, often required to work overtime or weekends
