**Position Overview**
The Sal es M a n a g e r I is responsible for leading the sal es team to reach sal es g oals. This position is accountable for coordinating sal es and marketing events and meetings. The Sal es M a n a g e r I is responsible for sal es volume up to $100 million.
**Essential Job Duties
- Responsible for leading the sal es team to reach sal es targets and revenue objectives.
- Create strategic sal es plans to expand customer base.
- Prepare and maintain budgets, as well as coordinate, the division sal es and marketing events.
- Research customer needs and identify solution opportunities.
- Coordinate sal es m eetings and introduce/promote all new products to division and loc a t i o n leadership and sal es representatives.
- Responsible for consistent analysis of profit margin, accounts receivable, and inventory for assigned area of operations.
- Focus on in-depth analysis of purchasing, pricing, inventory control and administrative functions of assigned facilities.
- Work with division purchasing team to develop quotes and promote the multi-family housing business.
- Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Minimum Education required - Bachelor's degree in sal es, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum Experience required - 10 years prior sal es experience and construction background required, with knowledge of building materials.
- Special Skills - Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills needed. Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills, sal es and marketing expertise and conflict resolution skills.
- Other - Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office products.
- Physical demands include exposure to extreme temperatures, lift up to 50 lbs. on a random basis, standing and walking for extended periods of time, and bending or stooping.
