EFS-plastics Inc. is a successful, growing recycling company that recovers plastic from residential recycling programs. Your detergent bottles, milk jugs and plastic bags all end up at EFS, where we turn them into plastic resin pellets that can be used to make new products.

**Current Opportunity: Office Administrative Assistant / Purchasing Assistant**

**FULL TIME**: 8am-4pm

**HIRING BONUS**: $1,250.00

**Position Summary**:
The Office Administrator / Production Scheduler provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor to achieve both financial goals and customer delivery dates. Duties include preparation of daily and weekly schedules for production lines. Communicate regularly with purchasing and production supervisors to adjust schedules to accommodate changes in customers needs. Works under little supervision and has significant responsibility for efficiency of operation.

**Schedule**

**8am thru 4:15pm Monday thru Friday ---- 40 hours per week**

**Responsibilities: Essential Duties**
- Perform administrative and secretarial assignments for Operations.
- Maintain daily calendars for meetings and events for Operations.
- Research and pull data from systems.
- analyze data, create reports based on system data as necessary for management.
- Order and maintain office supplies as needed.
- Effectively communicate production orders and maintain a high standard of quality.
- Support sales staff with customer service functions including general order information and shipment verification.
- Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements.
- Assist with finish goods inventory management.
- Notify sales of any schedule’s impacts to customers.
- Support sales with expedite customers orders.
- Coordinate with purchasing for materials.
- Create job packets.
- Provide backup to other administrative members for lunch breaks, sick leave and vacation.

**Expertise: Knowledge & Skills**
- Excellent organizational, communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects, take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of office procedures and practices.
- Ability to operate office equipment including multi-line phone, copier, fax, printer, scanner, projector, videoconferencing equipment, etc.
- Good judgment and ability to make sound decisions within established guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and the ability to conduct oneself and represent the company and the department in a professional manner.

**Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education**

**Required**:

- Minimum of three years in an office administrative / production planner role.
- Three or more years of administrative and secretarial support experience.
- Must have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize projects, take initiative and work independently.
