**About the Role**

The Sales Manager will spearhead our sales strategy, focusing on new placements and customer acquisition at both channel and end-user levels. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by leading a team dedicated to expanding our market presence through strategic sales initiatives and fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

**Strategic Sales Leadership**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at securing new placements and acquiring new customers across various channels and end-users.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth. Utilize insights to guide strategic planning and decision-making.
- High capacity to navigate and solve complex sales challenges.
- Ensure coherent brand messaging and product offerings by collaborating closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts for successful product launches or campaigns, aligning with overall sales objectives and solving coordination challenges independently.

**Team Management and Development**
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team to exceed sales targets through proactive customer acquisition and effective channel partnerships, fostering an environment where team members are empowered to solve problems independently.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales goals.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and sales potential.

**Customer and Channel Partner Engagement**
- Lead negotiations and close agreements with large customers and channel partners, ensuring terms that are beneficial for both the company and the client.
- Maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key accounts and channel partners by understanding their needs.

**Reporting and Performance Tracking**
- Prepare and present reports on sales performance, goals, and potential for growth to senior management, ensuring timely updates on progress towards objectives.
- Implement sales programs by developing field sales action plans, tracking, and analyzing sales data to inform strategies and adapt tactics as necessary.

**What you will bring to this role**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, with a focus on channel sales and customer acquisition.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales growth and drive exceeding sales targets, with a knack for independently solving complex problems.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and direct a team towards achieving sales goals without needing constant direction.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of identifying trends and challenges, with a strategic and creative problem-solving approach.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to achieve business goals.
