Tietz's Piggly Wiggly seeks dedicated and experienced BAKERY DEPARTMENT MANAGER for immediate, Full-Time employment within our Company in the Sheboygan County, WI area. This position is scheduled 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and as needed to cover 1 rotational weekend date(s). This position reports to the Store Director, and mentors with our Bakery/Deli Regional Supervisor. Tietz's Piggly Wiggly stores are family owned and recognized, reputable premier grocers within the neighborhoods we serve in Sheboygan North, Sheboygan South, Howards Grove, Two Rivers, Manitowoc and Plymouth.
- Ensuring that the bakery is adequately stocked with quality baking ingredients and supplies.
- Ensuring that baking tools, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Developing and implementing advertising and marketing strategies to attract customers.
- Creating suitable work schedules for staff members.
- Appraising staff performance and carrying out the necessary disciplinary measures to address poor performance.
- Training staff to produce high-quality bakery items while following proper food handling procedures.
- Strategically arranging bakery items in display cases to encourage customer purchases.
- Inspecting bakery items to ensure that established standards on quality, uniformity, and aesthetic appeal are met.
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
