Briar Place Nursing Center is looking for a highly motivated individual interested in a rewarding career in long-term care. As an Assistant Administrator, you will be working with a team of administrative and clinical professionals to lead staff and manage the facility. We give you time to develop your skills and understand the industry regulations to help prepare you for a successful career as a Nursing Home Administrator.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
1. Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine job duties.
2. Must be able to communicate the philosophy of the facility.
3. Must possess the ability to make and carry out sound policies.
4. Be personable with residents, families, and staff in a professional and cooperative manner.
5. Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding for the residents of the facility.
**MAIN DUTIES**:
1. Assist Administrator with administrative duties.
2. Human Resources, recruiting, interviewing, on boarding, and terminating staff. This also includes managing a biweekly payroll.
3. Reinforce company policies to insure quality of service.
4. Managing office needs including ordering supplies.
5. Monitor and manage accounts payable. this includes organizing and or disputing any incorrect bills.
6. Assist in creating an emotional and physical environment conducive to the best interest of staff and residents. This includes daily and other periodic rounds.
7. Assist with resident payers, resident insurances, resident collections, and eligibility.
