**Human Resources Coordinator - Contract**

Location: Aliso Viejo, CA Hybrid (onsite 3x/week)

Compensation: $23-$25.50 per hour

The Human Resources Coordinator provides assistance with and facilitates processes within the People (HR) Department. This role provides administrative support, including record-keeping, file maintenance, onboarding and other administrative duties as assigned. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to multitask.

**Essential Functions**
- Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files
- Assist in the onboarding process of new hires, review background checks, process new hire paperwork and verify work authorization utilizing the E-Verify system
- Support the offboarding process by creating and processing separation documentation
- Maintain department shared drives with current forms, templates, and SOPs
- Coordinate meetings, team events and maintain department calendar
- Support engagement initiatives and distribute department communications
- Answer employee questions including general questions regarding HR processes and procedures; escalate issues as required by defined processes
- Support team to reach departmental goals
- Participate in various HR related special projects
- Manage incoming and outgoing department mail
- Assist with submitting expense reports
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of administrative experience
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail; Achieves thoroughness and confirms accuracy
- Possesses strong teamwork skills; Works well with customers, colleagues, managers and other individuals across the entire company
- Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Results and goal oriented
- Excellent organization skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior personal and ethical standards
