**About This Role**

Reporting to our VP of Talent & Development, the Manager of Learning & Development will be a key contributor to Compass' strategic goals, assisting in the design, development, and implementation of critical learning and development initiatives as we scale our operation within and outside of Illinois. The Manager of Learning and Development will develop strategic solutions and programming with a specific focus on our leaders and corporate staff.

Our dedicated operations teams work behind the scenes to bring our shared mission to life. Each department delivers their own set of strengths which empower our clinicians to focus on their expertise, and ultimately perform the meaningful work that we do.

**What You'll Do**:

- Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to understand and assess learning and development needs, with a specific focus on leadership development, corporate staff training and development, and compliance training
- Assess current curriculum, content and technology platforms/learning management systems and work with other L&D team members to optimize these resources
- Assist in building engaging and inspiring learning content, including a blend of live virtual /in-person solutions and on-demand solutions. Bring this content to life and ensure effective delivery through hands-on facilitation, train the trainer programs, etc.
- Partner with Clinical L&D team and other cross-functional leaders to build and execute new site training programming for relevant areas of oversight
- In partnership with Clinical L&D team, ensure organization is in compliance with various regulatory training requirements
- Measure and evaluate effectiveness of learning and development deliverables and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead and manage L&D operations and coordination across all domains: this includes LMS administration and continuous improvement, L&D data analytics and insights, ensuring smooth delivery and coordination of all learning programming across the organization

**Who You Are**:

- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of learning and development experience
- Ability to visualize and execute learning strategies based off skill gaps and needs analysis
- Proven ability to create clear, concise, and accurate content. Must be able to simplify complex topics for learner understanding
- Excellent facilitation skills and understanding of adult learning theories
- Experience with Learning Management Systems; experience with Articulate preferred
- Great communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with leaders and cross-functional staff
- Ability to see trends in both quantitative and qualitative data and use that data to communicate program impact
- Positive and agile attitude and passion for working in the mental health space
