In the role of Business Relationship Manager - Oral Migraine, you’ll tackle complex challenges as you develop and diversify your professional experiences while helping others grow and develop their skills. This role proactively understands brand strategies, educates cross functional teams on existing systems capabilities, and influences/develops capability roadmaps. The Business Relationship Manager - Oral Migraine will stay on top of trends and perform the required research and due diligence when necessary to recommend the use of innovative technology capabilities, balancing opportunities for innovation, business benefits, existing IT standards, and IT roadmaps.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Proactively understanding the business strategies and the solution needs of the brand across short term and long-term business objectives.
- Leading the creation of brand specific data and solutions/capabilities roadmaps to support the strategic needs.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to ensure strong cross-group collaboration.
- Working with a variety of partners to understand business requirements, building and maintaining the product backlog, and successfully leading projects through their respective lifecycles.
- Managing a portfolio of projects for the Brand and providing visibility to business and technology leadership on the status, benefits, costs, and risks of new requests and in-process projects.
- Developing comprehensive project estimates and timelines by soliciting input and collecting feedback from all impacted stakeholders and the teams.
- Proactively understanding both data and solutions capabilities already in use across AbbVie while providing recommendations.
- Working across IT and business functions to negotiate and secure the availability of resources to meet the demands of the Brand and track and remove team's impediments.
- Identifying the true source of obstacles that are impacting the team, demonstrating skills to overcome them, and anticipating and preventing potential obstacles before they occur.
- Supervising a matrixed team of project managers, architects, business systems analysts, and technical leads to deliver solutions.
- Responsible for compliance with applicable AbbVie Policies and procedures while working with mínimal oversight.
- Required_
- Bachelor's Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 6 years’ experience; or a PhD with 2 years’ experience.
- Prior work experience in areas such as business analysis, project management, portfolio management, and strategic planning.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build trust, listen, and ask effective questions.
- Innovative thinking and the ability to leverage experience to be successful in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Proven track record of effective project leadership and deliver positive results.
- Strong analysis, analytical, and financial acumen skills.
- Understanding of IT pricing and contracting practices.
- Prior experience leading negotiations and reaching mutually beneficial agreements.
