Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Facilitate communication between church staff and ministries (member concerns to pastor, maintenance issues to custodian, broken doors to trustees, etc.)
- Oversee the church schedule/calendar, files accounting records and directory
- Communicate with newsletter contributors to design and edit the monthly newsletter
- Update the church website and social media accounts
- Update the electronic worship presentation for weekly services
- Schedule maintenance and other visits in coordination with the Trustees
- Coordinate facility use, help with event planning, logistics and who has access to the building
- Order, maintain inventory, and storage of office and church supplies
- Coordinate the maintenance and repair of church and office equipment (photocopiers, printers, etc.)
- Coordinate with the Church Treasurer to complete payroll sheets, pay bills, and balance accounts
- Receive mail delivery and coordinate periodic mailings (giving statements, etc.)
- Complete statistical reports for the Church/Charge Conference and Northern Illinois Conference
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills**:

- Strong technological skills, proficiency in office software and phone systems and willingness to learn specific church management, financial, and presentation software
- Strong administative and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize daily components of an office environment with professional confidentiality and intergrity
- Exceptional Interpersonal skills with diverse populations

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.75 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
