The Innovative Health (IH) Organization has been created to drive meaningful impact to participant health and wellbeing by reinventing the clinical trial experience. The Innovative Health organization connects teams across development to novel capabilities and solutions, unleashing the potential of innovation to drive broader access to innovative medicines, and enriching the healthcare experience for all.
The Innovative Health team is seeking a Program Lead, to drive project excellence and oversight across large scale, innovation programs. Reporting to the Head of Innovative Health, the Program Strategy and Execution Lead will be accountable for the program planning and execution of IH initiatives within timelines and budget across a set of projects or programs. This role is critical in driving optimization, transformation and re-invention capabilities development to efficient completion to safeguard Johnson & Johnson's ability to deliver our drug development portfolio with the highest efficiency, quality and speed - because patients are waiting.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Translate Innovative Health programs strategic vision into practical plans for execution from pilot to enterprise adoption
- Lead projects/teams in alignment with overall program goals, monitoring and managing the coordination of activities within a team, driving execution of program and project plans, and proactively anticipating and communicating concerns/delays in the program to develop risk assessments, drive improvements, and align partners to contingency plans
- Be responsible for the overall success of the delivery of innovation program(s) and projects, managing risks and trade-offs as required
- Maintain an overview of program status and issues and proactively communicate progress, risks, issues or changes that may impact quality, timelines and/or budget; provide program level updates to partners as requested.
- Lead all aspects of budgets, resources and timelines within or across projects/programs, ensures review, presentation and approval of initial plans and manages the plan through the lifecycle of the program by communicating changes to partners, sponsors and governance, as appropriate.
- Perform partner identification and management, dependency mapping and oversight throughout capability development and delivery lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide team members and ensure they have all the resources required to complete their assigned tasks.
- Work in partnership with the Launch Strategy & Excellence Lead to align program timelines with adoption and launch strategy planning.
- Champion the adoption and integration of innovative solutions to elevate operational efficiency and Johnson & Johnson performance.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
**Experience and Skills**:
- 10+ years of experience in program management or equivalent experience is required.
- Successful track record of leading and implementing project excellence capabilities within large cross-functional teams across diverse project portfolio is required.
- Expert project management skills, cross-functional engagement and organizational skills are required.
- Ability to influence and negotiate across a wide range of senior partners (i.e., functional area heads) is required.
- Ability to provide operational strategic direction and guidance to ensure program health is required.
- Strong analytical skills with a data driven approach to planning, executing, and problem solving is required.
- Budget management expertise and strong financial competence is required.
- Consistent track record of building, leading and developing productive teams and collaborations is required.
- Advanced interpersonal & leadership skills is required.
