Job Title**:Fire Alarm Inspector/Technician**
Pay Rate**:$25 to $27/HR**
Duration**:11 months**
Location**:Cypress, CA**
Shift**:7 AM - 3:30 PM**
We are looking for a **Fire Alarm Inspector/Technician.**
- Work under the direct supervision of technicians.
- Responsible for the execution of any **inspection** with adherence to **NFPA **25 & 72 test methods as well as local codes enforced by the AHJ
- Meets customer expectations and onsite policies while performing **quality inspections**.
- Maintain communication and follow through with Client Service Manager and Service Operations Supervisor
- Will be responsible for generating **fire alarm** and **sprinkler **reports after 3-4 months of on-the-job training.
- Must submit daily time entries using programs
- Must submit pre-work safety logs.
- Check the schedule on company SharePoint and other programs.
**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education**:
- High School Diploma or state-recognized GED,
- **Must have own dependable transportation** to job sites from Greater Los Angeles, Inland Empire, and Orange County areas
**Other requirements**:
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to work in a variety of circumstances including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment as well as working in ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
- Must be **able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds.**:
- Must be able to **work overtime, including weekends and holidays** as well as alternative shifts or work nights **when required.**:
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
**Job Type**: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Commute:
