**Job Summary/Purpose**:
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the VIP Coordinator will demonstrate and ensure that professionalism, safety, respect, policies, rules and regulations for employees and VIP guests are maintained at all times. The Program Coordinator will also oversee and manage the department and perform other duties that may include, but are not limited to, the Responsibilities/Essential Functions listed below.

**Qualifications**:

- Must understand and support the Mission Statement, philosophy, scope, vision, and practical activities associated with the Haven.
- Must demonstrate integrity and good moral character.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED; a degree in human services or related field is preferred.
- Must demonstrate a high level of management and organizational skills.

- Must be able to successfully facilitate and maintain life skills classes.
- Must be able to plan life skills opportunities for/with guests.
- Must be able to work with sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must be team oriented.

- Must be able to appropriately handle emergency situations.
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be, or be willing to be, CPR/first aid certified.

- Must be at least eighteen years of age.

**Responsibilities/Essential Functions**:

- Oversee the management of all employee work schedules, the daily agenda for the guests and the overall maintenance of the department.
- Determine and facilitate case management needs of program participants.

- Collaborate with Haven Human Resources regarding hiring, firing, discipline, promotions, and employee annual evaluations (if applicable).
- Enforce Haven organization and department rules, policies and procedures.
- Attend weekly management meetings to ensure CEO is informed and updated regarding the VIP operations.
- Hold regular staff meetings (if applicable).
- Communicate relevant information to all staff that is necessary for each shift to perform daily procedures effectively.
- Delegate assignments and duties for all employees (if applicable).
- Be responsible for, or delegate assignment of volunteer, guest, or intern services to appropriate staff.
- Provide opportunities for training for all department employees, so that they can perform with professionalism and pride (if applicable).
- Work harmoniously and cooperatively with co-workers to develop a positive team spirit that promotes professionalism and efficiency.
- Work harmoniously with guests to develop a positive relationship that promotes professionalism, personal growth, self-confidence and effectiveness.
- Assist foster care guests with medication and hygiene needs.
- Ensure foster care guests are eating three well balanced nutritious meals daily to meet dietary needs.
- Coordinate transportation to recreational opportunities and medical appointments for foster care guests
- Ensure that all data reports are accurate and turned in when required (HMIS, monthly, quarterly and annual reports).
- Ensure that all necessary supplies are in stock and inventoried for staff to hand out to guests as needed.
- Find replacement staff member (if applicable), or cover any shift in case of emergency or employee absence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
