As an Air Monitoring Equipment Specialist, you will have the chance to work directly with advanced air monitoring sensors, meteorological tools, and telecommunications equipment. **DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
In this position, you will oversee various ambient air monitoring projects, including the maintenance and operation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Air Monitoring System (COPAMS) remote air monitoring equipment, discrete samplers, and other necessary instrumentation in compliance with federal and state clean air acts. Routine preventive maintenance will be conducted bi-weekly at remote stations, while troubleshooting and corrective actions will be taken based on analysis of symptoms and parameters to rectify malfunctions on air monitoring sensors, meteorological equipment, and station support equipment. The focus of this role will be primarily in the eastern region of Pennsylvania.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- An associate's degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology or a closely related field; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and/or training.

**Special Requirement**:

- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
