IM YOUR NERD is looking for a customer service-oriented Help Desk Technician to provide remote and onsite technical support to our customers. This position will also be the onsite technician for our Northeast (NY, NJ) based customers when needed. The goal is to maintain excellent customer service our client base has grown accustomed to. This job is a temp to perm position.

Position Responsibilities:

- Receives Helpdesk calls, creates tickets and diagnoses problems through communication with users.
- Conducts follow-up calls to users when necessary.
- Workstation software and hardware installation.
- Recommends improvements to workflow based on experience and personal observations
- Supports iPhone, Android, and other Smart devices.
- Records, tracks, and documents the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and any hardware or software asset actions taken, through to final resolution.
- Resolves complex service and problem tickets

Experience/Education:

- A+ Certified Preferred
- 1-2 years Helpdesk Support
- Must speak fluent English
- Experience with basic networking
- Experience working in a team environment
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent multi-tasking ability required
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Must have a FL based Drivers License and a means of travel

A mask must be worn for all onsite visits to customer locations.

Pay: From $36,000.00 per year
