Medical Assistant/front Desk

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our exciting team We are a medically supervised weight loss and wellness facility helping people change their lives by reaching a healthy weight. We also offer hormone replacement, various vitamin injections, as well as body contouring and urinary incontinence treatments.

In this role, you will perform routine clinical, administrative, and front desk tasks. You must have at least one year of previous experience in drawing blood on a regular basis to be considered for this position. Experience with administering EKGs and intramuscular injections is preferred.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily clinical tasks such as blood draws, EKGs, injections, and urinalysis
- Handle all medically related administrative duties such as lab requisitions and data input
- Ability to make clients feel at ease while performing medical tasks
- Assist doctors and/or nurse practitioners with bioidentical hormone pellet insertion procedures
- Perform vitals and body composition analyses
- Preform body contouring treatments
- Preform urinary incontinence treatments
- Greet clients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and process client transactions.

Qualifications:

- Friendly, social, POSITIVE, and outgoing personality
- Previous experience in the above listed disciplines
- Familiarity with lab requisition procedures
- Proactive and take initiative
- Professionalism
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
