In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming packages and mail to identify any potential threats or prohibited items.

Key Responsibilities:

- Screen incoming packages and mail using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other screening equipment.
- Identify and report any suspicious items or packages according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of all screened packages and mail.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities, such as law enforcement or security personnel, in the event of a security concern.
- Follow established procedures and protocols for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any security issues or concerns.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with security screening equipment and procedures is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
