Hospice Nurse

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Nurse to join our team. The Hospice Nurse will provide end-of-life care and support to terminally ill patients and their families. This role requires a high level of empathy, professionalism, and medical expertise.
**Duties**:
- Provide direct patient care in hospice settings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and assess patient conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on end-of-life care options
- Maintain accurate medical documentation following HIPAA guidelines
**Requirements**:
- Valid nursing license
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Experience in patient care, particularly in hospice or palliative care settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide emotional support to patients and families during difficult times
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Familiarity with medical records management
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, PRN
Pay: $65.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 02 - 30 per week
