Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Nurse to join our team. The Hospice Nurse will provide end-of-life care and support to terminally ill patients and their families. This role requires a high level of empathy, clinical expertise, and the ability to provide comfort during challenging times. **Responsibilities**:

- Conduct clinical assessments, create an appropriate plan of care based on findings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Provide pain management and symptom control
- Implement infection control measures
- Assist with family planning discussions
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Utilize aseptic techniques for wound care and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care

**Experience**:

- Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or compact state
- Commitment to accurate documentation
- Knowledge of hospice standards, best practice, regulations and procedures
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols - Experience in Hospice &/or Palliative Care setting preferred

**Skills**:

- English speaking/bilingual/Spanish preferred - Critical thinking/strong clinical judgement, ability to assess the patient/home/situation and appropriately determine best practice interventions.

Pay: $79,566.00 - $85,000.00 per year
