Job Summary:
The Office and Events Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the ALS Hope Foundation’s office and supporting fundraising and events. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to general admistration and support for event planning & fundraising. This position is directly supervised by and reports to the Foundation’s Executive Director

**Duties**:
The role of the Office Manager and Events Coordinator will include (but not limited to) the following:
**Office Administration**
- Learn the full role of the ALS Hope Foundations and act as a representative of the Foundations to the community.
- Act as “liaison” between the ALS Hope Foundation and patients and families at the MDA/ ALS Center of Hope Clinic.
- Answer general inquiries about the ALS Hope Foundation.
- Send thank-you and other correspondence to donors and volunteers.
- Manage the schedule of the committee meetings.
- Take minutes for Board Meetings and committee meetings.
- Assist the Board Treasurer and Bookkeeper in preparing annual budgets, managing expenditures and assuring payments in a timely manner.
- Assist the Bookkeeper in weekly deposits, invoices, scans.
- Manage incoming calls.
- Supervise any Co-Ops (Drexel) or Interns.
- Welcome to attend any Center of Hope Clinic days.

- Support the ALS Hope Foundation’s fundraising efforts.
- Seek and pursue sponsorship and grant opportunities.
- Provide a support role to organize, manage and coordinate fundraising events
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all event requirements are met
- Work with third-party fundraising to assist, support and lend guidance.
- Maiintain accurate event records and documentation
- Co-ordinate volunteers

**Qualifications**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with famillies, volunteers, vendors, and team members
- Proficiency in clerical tasks such as payroll processing and administrative duties
- Familiarity with human resources practices related to event staffing
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism
- Proficient in phone etiquette for effective communication

Pay: $18.77 - $23.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Fort Washington, PA 19034: Relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Fort Washington, PA 19034
