**Company Description**
As the PR & Media Supervisor you will work with and support the Director of Marketing & Communications to shape De Beers Jewellers reputation, working on key campaigns, high jewellery and collections launches, and projects across the region.
The Supervisor is responsible for supporting the PR & Media strategy and tools for De Beers Jewellers.
On a day-to-day basis you will be maintaining and developing PR relations, press release send outs, magazine shoot and press requests, celebrity/influencer shoot requests, pitching press for features and news stories on forthcoming launches, monitoring and reporting on PR coverage. On the media side you will be responsible for delivering assets within deadlines for paid media campaigns and reviewing paid social media content calendars based on the overall paid media plan.
It will involve working cross-functionally and collaboratively to ensure an integrated 360° approach to marketing & communications.
**Job Description** Develop and implement the PR & Media strategy for DBJ North America.**
- Work closely with the Director, Marketing & Comms to develop, plan and implement the yearly press & media strategy for the market, aligned with DBJ challenges and HO guidelines in a defined budget.
- Prepare a Press plan to combine product focus, brand stories and local activations to ensure the right and optimised visibility.
- Plan experiential events with press & influencers (i.e. US based press events, collection launches, activations, or international trips).
- Collaborate closely with other key markets to leverage initiatives and share best-of coverage & prepare relevant market reporting.
- Responsible for submission and processing of monthly departmental invoices as well as tracking against budgeted plan.
**Maintain & develop key relationships with offline and online media**
- Maintain and develop the DBJ press listing to include strong contacts within the region; jewellery, fashion, accessories and luxury lifestyle press and also within the luxury goods industry, to generate and increase coverage in print, online and social media channels.
- Attend PR appointments with the Director, Marketing & Comms where appropriate.
- Develop and strengthen close relationships with target media - national, regional and press as well as online, bloggers and influencers.
- Manage communication and regional strategy with external media agency.
- Collaborate with global head office to localize media strategy.
- Support director in communications of all DBJ initiatives and product launches.
- Coordinate and host key press at DBJ events and product launches and collaborate with Events Supervisor where relevant.
- Organise press trips where appropriate and budget depending and following up to maximise coverage opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Director, Marketing & Comms to inform of the status of DBJ coverage in publications in which we advertise, so that they can monitor the ROI on our advertising investments and optimise accordingly.
- Responsible for organization of reporting on all key departmental activity.
- Manage logistics of all photoshoots and track associated costs within budget.
**Awareness and visibility for DBJ**
- Maximise visibility for DBJ in both print, OOH and digital, with a multichannel approach. Ensure visibility throughout the year through main features, special issues (Jewellery, Luxury, Bridal, Holiday etc.) and photoshoots.
- Work on increasing Launchmetrics media monitoring rankings among competitive set.
- Draft presentations on key activity (launches, events) for the Director, Marketing & Comms.
- Monitor and track reporting for local market (ex: paid search, paid social...)
**Influencers & celebrities**
- Identify and build a strong and evolving network through close relationships with local influencers in various tiers, prioritising relationship lead activations, who fit the DBJ brand.
- Develop DBJ’s VIP/influencer relations to generate coverage with top performers.
- Maintain and develop DBJ’s relations with celebrity stylists and agents, with the aim of DBJ being top-of-mind for dressings during high profile red carpet, film, fashion and related events: Golden Globes, Critics Choice, SAG Awards, Oscars, Met Gala, Emmys
- Manage communication with external celebrity agency.
**The base salary for the position is $73-$90K USD per annum.**

- Degree level education;

- Demonstrable experience of the U.S. jewellery market and understanding of the international luxury industry essential;
- Significant experience in Press and PR in a luxury/jewellery environment (in-house or agency);
- Demonstrable experience of building long-term relationships, developing networks
