Certified Recovery Specialist

**Certified Recovery Specialist**
- **NEW POSITIONS**:

- **FT Hours immediately**:

- **Guaranteed 37.5 hrs/wk for first 2 years **then transition to fee for service
- Support adults with substance use disorders (SUD) on medication assisted treatment (MAT) in various locations of the Philadelphia Department of Prisons (PDP) as well as in the community.
- CRS will provide supportive in person engagements to assist with setting up resources and provide recovery support.
- PDP has the authority to permit or reject any applicant and will evaluate on an individualized basis.
- Must be able to travel anywhere in Philadelphia.
- If certified as a CRS- must provide a valid PA CRS certificate
- If not certified, must attend a 78 hour mandatory training to become a Certified Recovery Specialist.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Self Identify as having a Substance Use Disorder
- Have at least eighteen months, in a continuous manner, of personal, lived, recovery experience
- In the last 36 months have at least 12 months of employment, volunteer work
- Have a Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma OR GED
- Ability to use an iPad for documentation purposes

Pay: $19.00 - $19.57 per hour
