Firstly, you'll be responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures. In other words, you'll be the rule enforcer. Secondly, you'll be in charge of maintaining and monitoring employee safety. Think of yourself as a superhero, but instead of fighting crime, you'll be fighting workplace hazards.

**What You will Do**
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures by local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientation, ongoing safety education, and emergency response training.
- Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers
- Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files
- Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications
- Ensure all State inspections, registrations and Insurance IDs for trucks are current
- Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures
- Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other clerical duties as assigned

**What You'll Bring**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years’ proven safety/ramp experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with large groups - must be flexible

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
