Perform a variety of duties including assembling and packaging of products, set-ups, minor maintenance, and monitoring the operation of the Little David assembly and packaging equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Train all team members on what is required to achieve team objectives on the machine.
- Coordinate the activities of the area to ensure that all work schedules are completed, and goals met.
- Promote and maintain a safe and clean work environment through the enforcement of housekeeping safety policies.
- Perform general housekeeping.
- Provide suggestions and feedback on improving departmental processes. performance goals, and environment.
- Maintain machine performance to meet quality and production targets.
- Perform a variety of duties including set-ups, minor maintenance, cleaning, and clearing machine jams.
- Keeping the machine/workstation filled with raw materials.
- Report material defects and machine problems.
- Assemble and pack completed unit outer cartons into a master outer carton. Assist other assemblers/packers to ensure efficient product flow.
- Process returns to stock and material defects as required.
- Inspect quality materials and verify the accuracy of raw components and finished goods from the Bill of Materials.
- Other related and similar duties as assigned.

**Qualification**:

- Successfully pass reading and math skills tests and have good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work in a machine-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Possess strong mechanical aptitude.
- Able to pay close attention to detail and follow instructions/procedures to meet quality standards.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks (including physical requirements as described below) consistently.
- Maintain consistent and acceptable attendance. Available to work overtime as needed, including weekend work. Available for mandatory overtime as appropriate based on business demands.
- Able to fulfill all essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
- Abide by all safety policies, procedures, rules, and guidelines to prevent and reduce exposure to accidents and injuries.
- Able to work in a team environment by assisting in training and facilitating job duties for other team members (including temps). Demonstrate a positive attitude.
- Able to take the initiative in providing leadership for the support functions on the Little David line to safely maximize machine performance. Exercise prudent judgment in making decisions independently. Immediately escalate issues to the lead/supervisor as necessary.
- Participate in required department meetings.
- Able to pay close attention to detail and follow instructions/procedures to meet quality standards.

**Physical Requirements**:
Perform repetitive tasks as required.

Perform pre-shift stretching (includes: bending, reaching, and stretching with hands, arm, legs, and feet and bending and twisting the waist) as required for the position.
