**Staff Accountant**:
We are looking for a diligent accountant to join our accounting department. This is a full-time 40 hours per week position. The accountant's responsibilities include monthly & quarterly grant reporting and billing, maintaining a fixed assets register, completing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, assisting with complete close processes, assisting with audits, and maintaining accounting documentation. You will also be assisting the Director of Finance as needed and responding to information requests by management and for auditing purposes. To be successful as an accountant, you should be able to accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong aptitude for learning new processes and techniques.
- Proficient in Excel.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (Recommended)

Experience: Accounting: 3+ years (required). Experience with Sage Intacct and Paylocity: 2 years (preferred).
