WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Team Member, you are involved with all of the day-to-day activities that happen at K9 Activity Club. You are key to each pet’s stay making sure everything that they need is happening and ensuring our doggy guests have a great vacation while their owners are away. As the primary contact person with our dog guests, you are responsible for:
Exercising dogs and providing enrichment activities
Attending to a busy lobby of customers with specific needs for their dogs.
Multi-tasking between lobby clients and bringing dogs to different areas in the facility.
Cooperating with your team to keep positive, dynamic relationships with both co-workers and clients.
Taking important, detailed information about each pet, which needs to be accurate.
Make sure every guest is comfortable, happy, and receiving all of the services that an owner requests.
Maintaining the daily duties promptly.
Closely monitoring the health and wellness of every guest.
Communicating clearly with our leadership team.
Helping maintain standards of cleanliness, order, positivity, and harmony throughout the facility.
Making sure every guest goes home happy and that we exceeded the expectation of the client.

This position we are currently hiring for at our growing company is in Santa Rosa, CA where we offer several different services for people and their pets. It is a full-time or part-time opportunity 20-40 hours per week including weekend work, in a pet care position with great support staff and leadership team that you would be joining.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

1 year or more of dog handling (This does not include owning a dog)
College school students and graduates or equivalent
Previous experience in a pet facility or pet care environment is a plus
Receptionist experience
Excellent work history and reference

COMPENSATION

Pay depends on experience. Performance-based bonus upon approval. The minimum hourly rate is $16.00 plus earned incentives and tips, which usually puts this position at $18.00 to $21 per hour. There is room for advancement and growth beyond that as well. We don’t hire to just fill a seat, rather we take our time looking for the right people.
