**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Regional Learning and Development Manager’s position is to serve as the learning leader and change advocate for the USFS audience. Their primary responsibility is to create the learning culture across two-three sites. Responsible for aligning with leadership to determine the needs while proactively promoting learning and development opportunities for colleagues.

As a liaison between the GSC and the Region, they are intricately connected to center-led strategies while demonstrating the ability to clearly identify, articulate and execute on the learning and development needs and change activation that drives successful business outcomes in their Region. They work closely in strategic alignment with the Field Director of Learning & Development to execute the center-led strategy, center-led onboarding, and development programs for USFS, ensuring they have an intentional focus on supporting all sites within their region.

Also, this role is called on to support colleagues' development and facilitate multi-functional (Sales, Operations, Merchandising, Finance, Human Resources) onboarding and leadership programs. These learning leaders are called up on to facilitate and/or curate learning interventions to support the needs of the region across all functions. This vital role participates in working teams to develop new materials and programs, provides insight and feedback to enhance training materials, and develop new platforms for learning that is relevant and actionable for the field.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Regional LDMs are responsible for supporting onboarding and sustainment activities for new colleagues and leaders within their Region; impactfully facilitating, influencing the program content and processes, shepherding new colleagues and leaders through the onboarding process, as well as effectively communicating with Market/ Regional/ Specialty leadership.
- Serve as the learning leader and change advocate for GSC-led transformation and Recipe for Growth initiatives within their USBL region, larger multi-functional deployment plans, and facilitate or support initiative deployment training as directed by GSC.
- As a liaison between the GSC and the Region/ Specialty teams, deploy and support Center-led Talent and Learning programming; remain intricately connected to center-led strategies while demonstrating the ability to execute, deploy, and model the behavior changes to embed new Talent and Learning priorities within their Region.
- Consult with Regional/Specialty Leadership to identify and match upskilling and learning needs to address talent gaps; Facilitate with confidence and enthusiasm to effectively influence the desired behaviors of our colleagues and leaders, through multifunctional skill development and leadership programs (Sales, Operations, Merchandising, Finance, Human Resources) via instructor led content, virtual learning, and development workshop training materials as directed. Represent Learning & Development in Regional Leadership Meetings and advocate for Regional upskilling & development; proactively promoting learning and development opportunities for colleagues and offering coaching to multifunctional leaders and colleagues.
- As a learning leader, stay up to date and invest in their own learning and development to remain current with our tools and resources, new technology and industry trends
- Support regional recruiting & interviewing process, in support of Regional VP (Vice President) of Human Resources and regional leadership team.
- Participate in GSC Learning & Development team meetings, and act as Subject Matter Experts on project work to advance Learning & Development priorities.

**Education Required**:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience

High School Diploma required

**Experience Required**:
5 years' experience in sales or training role; equivalent experience.

**Experience Preferred**:
3+ years of experience working in a project, results-driven or field engagement type role is strongly preferred
