This person manages multiple projects consisting of the installation and service of capital equipment products in a specific region consisting of North America. This person utilizes a team of union installation crews and salaried field representatives to coordinate the installation and servicing of the Brunswick Capital equipment customer.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously. This includes all Capital products for modernization, as well as new center construction. Manage the manpower resources to accommodate customer needs and product installation requirements in conjunction with equipment availability and credit approvals. This job has seasonal requirements where peak volumes will stretch capabilities and all available manpower. This individual is responsible for meeting this need and working with his group and his peers to find ways to meet the demand.

Hire Union Field Foremen and Mechanics to ensure customer’s expectations are met and equipment is installed in a cost-effective manner. This represents management of a work force of approximately 25-30 individuals in varying responsibility and skill levels.

**20%**

Control and monitor expenses and job efficiencies for each installation project to insure Brunswick receives a satisfactory profit level on each project.

**10%**

Provide data and technical support to home office based Service, R&D and Quality Management factions.

**10%**

Schedule and perform on-site surveys, construction site inspections and installation proficiency audits of capital equipment installations in respective region. Resolve open issues to insure timely payment is made of installation labor.

**10%**

Provides technical advisor services for the Sales Department and Distributor network in such activities as sales presentations, trade shows and conventions.

**General Knowledge**:

- Must have 5 or more years of effective management skills with capabilities to manage a union workforce as well as salaried and hourly individuals.
- Must have 5 or more years of experience in effective customer relationship skills and support procedures.
- Must be an effective negotiator and problem solver. Actual Negotiation Skills training is preferred.
- Must be proficient in operating PC programs (MS Word, MS Excel and Lotus Notes).
- Must have a strong working knowledge of pertaining labor laws, union rules and regulations.
- Must have 5 or more years experience in dealing with building construction practices and blueprint comprehension.

**Specific Product Knowledge**:

- Must have a minimum of 10 years experience with installing the full complement of bowling center products in existing bowling centers as well as totally new projects. First hand knowledge of Brunswick Capital Equipment product line is preferred.
- Be capable of installing, training, overseeing and auditing installations of all of Brunswick’s Capital Equipment products including automatic pinsetters, new and replacement lanes, automatic scoring, furniture and all other capital equipment products.
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of bowling center operation basics.

**Education Level**

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or the equivalent in business experience in association with the bowling equipment installation, service or construction industry management.
