**Job Description**:

- Provides coordination support and oversight for a team of Medical Writing Associates, including supervising staff.
- Performs technical and quality control review of documents prepared by the Medical Writing Associates staff including clinical research-related meeting summaries.
- Works with assigned Medical Writing staff, Project Managers, and Task Managers to manage timelines, productivity, and quality of deliverables.
- Participates in project team and client meetings as required.
- Develops and implements standard operating procedures, work instructions, and other tools specific to medical writing associate functions.
- Maintains quality control processes for all procedures including document review and approval processes, consistency of style and format of documents, tracking of timelines, etc.
- Develops scope and specific responsibilities with regards to client specific requests/projects in accordance with project management best practices.
- Contributes to technical proposals and Business Development activities.

**Job Requirements**:

- 5+ years experience in life science/medical field.
- Outstanding writing and editing skills.
- Experience in coordinating and overseeing meeting support activities as well as attending and moderating large meetings.
- Experience in project management and/or supervising and mentoring staff preferred.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
