Safe Voices domestic violence resource center is hiring a full-time Domestic Violence Intervention Program (CDVIP) Facilitator. Classes are held in Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford Counties, and the schedule may include Saturday or evening classes. This position offers a flexible work schedule including the possibility of a 4 day work week.
CDVIP is an educational program for men who have been convicted of domestic violence related crimes with the primary purpose to increase the safety of women and children. Men are most often referred by probation and are required to participate in the program. The goal is to help men think critically about their choices and process of change. The CDVIP Coordinator position involves teaching multiple batterer’s intervention classes per week, as well as program coordination and supervision of staff.
This position offers ongoing staff training and professional development, coordinated and paid for through Safe Voices. This includes Certification from a nationally recognized training for Domestic Violence Intervention Programs.
Pay starts at $23.91 per hour and will increase based on experience.
- Full-time, benefits eligible position. Position to be filled as soon as possible.
