Reconciliation Clerk

**Summary/Objective**:
The Reconciliation Clerk will perform verification and reconciliation of accounts. Occasional travel within Texas store locations is required.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Process and reconcile transactions.
- Process, verify and reconcile input documentation.
- Maintain appropriate files, reports, documentation and data.
- Reconcile and rectify accounts.
- Maintain regular contacts with internal and external customers.
- Reconcile and verify bank deposits and payments.
- Ensure follow-up action as and when necessary.
- Adhere to corporate standards and procedures in reconciliation clerical activities.
- Able to support with onsite cash audits of stores. (Physically in store)
- Able to create and navigate reports using Microsoft Excel.
- React positively to an ongoing, changing environment
- Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals.
- Maintain good working relationship with assigned supervisors and coworkers.
- PERFORMS ANY OTHER TASK ASSIGNED BY SUPERVISOR.
**Requirements, Qualifications and Other Personal Characteristics**:
- Travel on an occasional basis for an onsite audit is a MUST.
- Valid driver's license with good DMV report. (No DUI convictions)
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Works a 40-hour week minimum and has the availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business dictates.
- Available to work late for month-end or quarter-end to aid in company filings.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Satisfactory work and attendance record.
- Organization and attention to detail.
- Bilingual: Spanish and English preferred, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Graduation from high school or GED (desirable)
- Ethical Conduct.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous accounting or reconciliations experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous data entry experience required.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and practices, including established safety practices.
**Work Environment**:
- No or very limited physical effort required.
- No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
