General Responsibilities:

- Oversee Company Safety Programs, including:

- Injury and Illness Prevention Program
- Heat Illness Prevention Program
- Emergency Action Plan
- Fleet Safety Plan
- Various Other Workplace Safety Trainings
- Work closely with Workers’ Compensation carrier, Company management and the Company’s Employee Services Office to proactively manage Workers’ Compensation cases.
- Maintain awareness of the regulatory environment as it relates to safety and worker welfare and under the guidance of Management, adjust policies, practices, and training as necessary.

Job Requirements*
- At least three years of experience working within the agricultural industry in a safety related position
- AA degree or higher preferred
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements: The employee is required to work in an outdoor environment, tolerate wide variances in temperatures, lift up to 25 pounds, stand and walk on uneven surfaces, demonstrate good visual acuity, read and write, be able to enter and exit a vehicle safely, demonstrate sufficient dexterity of hands, arms and fingers to be able to perform the principal responsibilities of the job. The employee may be asked to work irregular or extended work hours.

Other Requirements: Must have a current driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be insurable under standard terms by the Company’s insurance carrier

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
