The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $87,500 USD

Reporting to the Creative Director, we are looking for a Conceptual, Social-First Writer who is conceptually minded and social-first in your approach coming from a background of creating organic social content that achieved high engagement. Along with being conceptually minded when it comes to ideas, you're highly literate in social platforms and execution. You'll be working on some of the world's biggest brands to craft big, bold, inspiring work that sets hearts and feeds on fire. You'll excel if you have a constant awareness and a passion for what's happening in culture (entertainment, film, social, creators on social platforms).

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as a fast and prolific out-of-the-box idea generator to concept/ideate everything from brand campaigns, to a content series, to a clever reactive post.
- Take briefs and quickly spin strategically insightful ideas from it bringing your own creative insights.
- You know the importance of a great, unexpected idea in order for organic content to create engagement.
- Differentiate large campaign ideas and a tactical projects, and accomplish both.
- Strategize and ideate across a full suite of social content: static assets, short and longform video (Reels, TikTok and longer scripted pieces), GIPHY stickers, GIFs,memes.
- Build relationships with your creative leads (and clients) via excellent work.
- Create top-level campaign ideas, write social post.
- You are used to ideating and developing projects that drive fame for clients.
- Create campaigns that cut through the clutter in culture and sets hearts and feeds on fire.
- Brainstorm / spar with clients and team members daily, and hold your own in the best interest of the work and the objectives of the brief.
- In meetings, with or without clients, you generate ideas on the spot, articulating your ideas with conviction.
- Work alongside the Creative Director, Creative VP and ECD to review work, take in their feedback and actioning direction across the team.

**Qualifications**
- 4+ years writers room experience / creative agency experience
- You've got strong copywriting experience in creating world-class social-first work for a range of world-leading brands.
- Experience working on and winning pitches and award-winning work.
- You have some experience in production and the world of shoots.
- You understand your role in production and post production - collaborate with a DP, editor, VFX, VO record, colorist, etc.

- You have thrived both as a conceptual creative ideating campaign ideas and as a fast social-first thinker - you're prolific when it comes to ideating based on cultural trends. You can also hold your own in a 'brainstorm'.
- You love working closely with clients and enjoy working alongside other diverse creative thinkers.
- You have a deep understanding of social storytelling but know the importance of rooting the concept in a big idea.
- You've got a huge interest in entertainment (TV and films).
- You understand creator culture in social media.
- There is rigor to your thinking - even for the smaller, faster concepts / social posts.
