The ability to prioritize work, track progress, and execute timely follow up is critical. The position will be located at Camp Keyes in Augusta. Partial telework will be permitted with management approval.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Provide contract and procurement support for all Maine Army National Guard Cooperative Agreements.
- Monitor and evaluate contractor performance. Take corrective action as necessary to address deficiencies.
- Effectively communicate with requestor to ensure contract meets department specifications and goals.
- Reviews and analyzes contracts, grants, and RFP’s and discusses feasibility, cost, and impact to provide input and make recommendations.
- Confers with outside providers and department employees to explain and clarify contracts and request for proposal (RFP) processes.
- Receives, collects, and analyzes performance data; establishes and monitors contractual or related benchmarking, and prepares reports to monitor and evaluate provider performance and provide information

Knowledge/skills required prior to being hired:

- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to write clearly and effectively.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to assess problems, reach logical conclusions, and develop appropriate solutions.

**Minimum qualifications**:
(Entry level knowledges, skills, and/or abilities may be acquired through, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO the following coursework/training and/or experience).

Education, training, and/or experience demonstrating competence in contract or grant administration.

Applicant must be able to pass a federal background check.

**Preference will be given to those applicants**:
Experience with Microsoft and other Business Databases. Advantage Helpful.
