Assembly Line Leader

**Objective**:
Provide leadership to all personnel who perform operations on the line in which the line leader has been assigned.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Ensure that all operations on the line are done in a safe manner using all proper protective equipment

2. Ensure all parts that have been manufactured on the line are of the highest quality

3. Ability to work OT as needed

4. Ensure that the line follows all environmental system regulations

5. Conduct daily morning meetings with the line

6. Report information daily to upper management

7. Ensure that all operators are on time at the beginning of the day

8. Ensure that 5’s methodologies are fully implemented on the line

9. Ensure that all items on the daily production program are completed on time

10. Provide training to new members of the line

11. Ensure that all members of the line are properly trained in their operation

12. Insure that all processes set in place are being followed correctly according to work instructions

13. Insure that all quality checks in place are being followed correctly

14. Report all maintenance issues to production management

15. Report all improvement ideas to engineering

**Knowledge**:

- Basic Computer Skills in Word and Excel
- Caliper

**Qualifications**:

Pay: From $19.25 per hour
