COMPENSATION: The hourly wage for this role ranges from $16 to $20, influenced by various factors such as the applicant's skills, qualifications, relevant degrees and certifications, previous experience, market data, and other pertinent elements. Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions, if applicable. This represents Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.

Upon hiring, the employee will be in an 'at-will position,' and Aramark reserves the right to adjust base salary and any other discretionary payments or compensation programs at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to individual performance, departmental performance, and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist in the daily preparation of food items and ensure proper dating of products.
  • Coordinate the setup and breakdown of designated stations as directed by management.
  • Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate portion control when preparing and serving food items.
  • Maintain daily temperature logs for food safety compliance.
  • Conduct quality checks on food items prior to serving.
  • Notify management and remove any food items that do not meet quality standards.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists for assigned stations.
  • Welcome customers as they approach and depart from the serving line.
  • Inquire about customer satisfaction and address any concerns while maintaining a friendly attitude.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, including floors, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Ensure all work areas and serving utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Manage waste disposal from the service line accurately.
  • Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
  • Participate in daily safety observations and report any hazards to management promptly.
  • Cross-train in various areas as required.
  • Be prepared to work in concessions, catering, and special events as assigned by management.
  • Complete tasks as requested by supervisors on a regular basis.
  • Guide and support team members to ensure timely and effective customer service, requesting assistance for sanitation issues as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Previous food service experience is advantageous.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport hot food items frequently.
  • Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, chemicals, and other potential hazards.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
