Texas A&M University's Technology Services is actively seeking a mid-level **AV Support **Specialist **to join our team to support our Health Science Centers buildings in Houston, Texas.

As an **AV Support **Specialist II **, you’ll be behind the scenes, ensuring classrooms teleconferencing systems are running smoothly for our faculty. You’ll also oversee the training and mentoring of our student technicians, empowering them to provide tier I AV technical support. When more complex issues arise, that’s when you’ll step in, to utilize your problem solving and technical skills to provide the tier II support.

**Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do**:

- Install, modify, and repair video teleconference systems
- Perform video conferencing technical support and troubleshooting
- Verify satellite downlinks and transmissions between conference sites
- Maintain documentation
- Train student technicians to provide tier I support
- Participate in AV training and professional development activities as approved by IT Leadership

**Salary**:$45,000 - $49,500 annually

**This position is expected to be onsite in Houston,Texas.**

**Qualifications**
- A bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience **AND **three years of related experience in User IT Consulting
